lash Extension After Care

AS A REMINDER: to allow adhesive to full cure, avoid getting the lashes wet for the initial 24 hours following your appointment. Every time you touch your lashes, you are Transferring natural oils and germs, minimize contact. Oils and oil-based products with glycol will affect the adhesion, causing the extensions to fall out prematurely. Only water-based (oil free) products are approved. You can purchase these through your lash artist.

LASH EXTENSION MAINTENENCE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • No waterproof Mascara

  • Do not use anything with ‘glycol’ or ‘glycerin’ in it

  • no pressed eyeshadow

  • no oil-based products around the eye area

  • no water can come in contact with the eyes for the first 24hrs

  • no tinting/perming of lash extensions

  • no pencil or liquid eyeliners

  • no cotton or q-tips to clean lashes

  • no concealers, moisturizers, liquid foundation, lotion around the eye area

  • no pulling/rubbing of the lash extensions

  • should any kind of eye drops be necessary extra care should be taken to prevent moisture from coming into contact with the lash extensions.

*After the initial 24 hours of a fill or full set, clean your lashes NIGHTLY after you cleanse your face. Please be sure to use an oil free cleanser and brush with a mascara wand.

When returning for lash fills, please Do not wear any makeup. Semi-Permanent Lashes are permanent with regular touch ups. Just as you would expect, today’s higher quality lash extensions are soft, weightless and a true extension of your natural lash. EVERY 30-45 days approximately 1/3 of your natural lashes fall out. As each lash sheds, a new lash is replacing the old. During this time, general Maintenance is needed to keep your lashes looking full and natural.
